#CV is a short-written summary of a person’s career, qualification and education. In Latin, CV stands for “Course of Life”.
A person always wants the best of the CV so that every employer can be impressed with the first glance at it. Every Professional wants to have a great CV so that he/she can get their #dream job.
In this #Pandemic, while constructing a CV for the new job we should consider some of the following points which can help us get the Job:
1. MANAGE WORK FROM ANYWHERE
In this present situation, we need to show the employer our sense of #adaptability. We can work from anywhere. We can manage our work under pressure and can work from anywhere with no hesitation. We need to show them that even if we are not technically so sound, we can #adapt and #learn new things without affecting the efficiency of work. We can easily work from home and can draw them excellent results.
2. FOCUS ON THE JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Don’t forget to see the job #profile of what the employer is looking for and take care of that thing in your CV. Mention exact points about your expertise and what all you know about that profile. Strictly stick to the focused points. Writing less and exact will impress the employer.
3. HANDS-ON LATEST TECHNOLOGIES
Don’t forget to mention your hands or how #comfortable you are with the latest #technology. Write separately about what you know about #computers and how friendly you are with the latest technology.
4. FOCUS ON TRANSFERABLE SKILLS
#Transferable #skills are your abilities and knowledge that can be applied in a variety of jobs. Highlight transferable skills in your resume so that the chance of getting selected is even higher.
5. EXCLUDE THE IRRELEVANT INFORMATION
Don’t mention irrelevant #information/experience in your CV. Just highlight your expertise and #achievements in the relevant #experience.
6. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN VOICE
You can only increase your CV's chances to be noticed by making an #impressive and thoughtful CV that covers all points. Instead of saying “an experienced Sales Manager” show them your experience in your CV and let your CV talks about your expertise. You may only write a ‘Corporate Sales Manager having 12+ completed targets’.
7. POSITIVE ATTITUDE
In the end, be positive about getting the job. After your interview is done, don’t rush to the results. Be #calm and #composed and give some time to the employer to think about you. Give the employer a chance to think that he also needs a capable candidate like you. While not giving results on time employer might take your patience test. So just #relax after the interview.
Above were some points which the candidate should keep in mind while making the CV during this #pandemic.
